Wear-resistant round link chain

The company can manufacture multiple varieties within three major series of high-strength round-link chains, compact chains, slag-handling chains, connecting links, three-link chains for mine cars, lifting chains, marine chains, fishing chains, hoisting chains, and various corresponding accessories for slings. These chains are available in diameters ranging from 14 to 70 mm and strength grades from 60 to 120.

This type of roller chain features higher strength and superior wear resistance, especially in its arc-shaped sections. These chains, carefully selected by experts, can be used as a replacement for Class C standard chains manufactured according to DIN 22252 or GB/T 12718 standards. The reason is that these Class C standard chains suffer rapid wear at the arc-shaped sections of the chain links when meshing with sprockets, leading to excessively rapid pitch elongation. As a result, the chain and sprocket can no longer mesh effectively, forcing the chain to be replaced—a costly waste.

Features

This type of roller chain features higher strength and superior wear resistance, especially in its arc-shaped sections. These chains, carefully selected by experts, can be used as a replacement for Class C standard chains manufactured according to DIN 22252 or GB/T 12718 standards. The reason is that the arc-shaped links of these Class C standard chains tend to wear rapidly when meshing with sprockets, leading to excessive pitch elongation. As a result, the chain and sprocket can no longer mesh effectively, forcing the chain to be replaced—a costly waste.

Recommendation: When using this round-link chain, also use the specially designed and parameterized scraper blades manufactured by Green (as part of a complete chain assembly). The ultra-wear-resistant round-link chains for mining are manufactured in accordance with DIN 22252 standard or GB/T 12718 standard, as well as Green’s technical specifications and production processes.

Use

The mine-use ultra-wear-resistant round-link chain with a strength grade of 11 and a tensile strength exceeding 1,100 MPa is suitable for equipment such as mine conveyors, scraper conveyors, other transfer machines, and feeding devices for tunneling machines. It offers even greater advantages when used in slag-handling equipment that transports materials containing stones and silicates.

With appropriate scraper and sprocket matching, and provided that the scraper and sprocket experience normal chain wear and regular, accurate monitoring of chain pre-tension, the service life of the chain can be two to three times longer than that of a standard Class C chain manufactured according to DIN 22252 or PN-G-46701 standards, and 20–25% longer than the service life of hardened, wear-resistant round-link chains.

Under the test load, the maximum elongation is 1.4%. Under the breaking load, the minimum elongation rate is 14%.
