Scope of Use

The high-strength, compact chains manufactured by Green are primarily used in coal mine scraper conveyors, transfer machines, and coal-cutting machines.

Feature

Forged-link chains feature forged upright links—upright links that are formed using a die-forging process rather than being welded together—while the flat links remain welded circular links. Based on their research into the structural design of compact-chain upright links and forging processes, Green Engineering’s technical staff have determined an appropriate forging method for producing these forged upright links. They use high-quality alloy materials, heat them via medium-frequency induction heating, hold them at the optimal forging temperature for a sufficient duration, and then employ a combination of forging dies—including specialized dies for forging upright links as well as dies for punching and trimming—to carry out the forging operation. Following forging, the forged upright links undergo appropriate heat treatment to optimize their microstructure. Finally, ultrasonic testing equipment is used to detect any internal defects in the forged upright links, ensuring that every single product meets the highest quality standards.

The forged chain is made from high-quality alloy materials, utilizing advanced forging equipment, technology, and heat treatment processes, and is meticulously crafted by Greener. This chain boasts high strength, excellent wear resistance, and superior corrosion resistance. Greener has been offering various models of forged chains—from 26*92 to 60*189—on the market for many years.
