High-strength compact chain for mining—ultra-flat chain

The ultra-flat chain is a type of mining scraper conveyor chain that is even flatter than the standard compact chain (flat chain). The ultra-flat chain allows existing conveyors to be upgraded from conventional compact chains (flat chains) or round-link chains to an ultra-flat chain one or two sizes larger. For example, the upright link height of the 42X146 ultra-flat chain is identical to that of the 38X137 compact chain and the 34X126 round-link chain, enabling seamless replacement and upgrade between these chains.

The ultra-flat chain is a type of mining scraper conveyor chain that is even flatter than the standard compact chain (flat chain). The ultra-flat chain allows existing conveyors to be upgraded from conventional compact chains (flat chains) or round-link chains to an ultra-flat chain that is one or two sizes larger. For example, the upright link height of the 42X146 ultra-flat chain is identical to that of the 38X137 compact chain and the 34X126 round-link chain, enabling seamless replacement and upgrade between these chains.

The lower height of the upright rings in the ultra-flat chain allows the initially tensioned chain to remain suspended between the two scrapers, effectively reducing wear on the chain track at the bottom of the middle trough and thereby extending the service life of the middle trough.

The specially designed, ultra-flat chain with an optimized structure features a vertical-ring configuration that effectively prevents and reduces chain kinking and knotting caused by stacked links. Additionally, the enlarged contact surface at the overlap between the flat and vertical rings significantly lowers the contact pressure and wear between adjacent links, thereby enhancing the chain’s wear resistance and extending its service life.
