Mine round-link chain
Manufacturing standards
The mine circular chains produced by Green meet the dimensional and mechanical performance requirements of standards such as GB/T 12718 and DIN 22252.
Scope of Use
The high-strength round-link chains manufactured by Green are primarily used in coal mine scraper conveyors, transfer machines, and coal-cutting machines, among other equipment.
Friendly reminder
Users should select appropriate surface coatings and corrosion protection methods based on the operating conditions and storage requirements of their respective mines.
Any type of anti-corrosion surface coating will reduce the chain's performance.

Optimized strength-grade round-link chain
B, C. Level C enhanced. Level D
Based on the relevant manufacturing standards GB, DIN, and PN for round-link chains, and in order to better serve our customers and meet the increasingly complex working conditions in underground coal mining operations, Green Engineering’s technical staff have developed round-link chains of Class C enhanced (>900 MPa) and Class D (>1050 MPa) grades. These chains, which have undergone reinforced design, exhibit higher strength and improved wear resistance. The high-strength chains are made from alloy materials and employ non-traditional manufacturing processes, enabling them to achieve greater strength without compromising the impact toughness of the chain links. The operating conditions suitable for each grade of round-link chain vary; in particular, Class D chains, due to their high hardness and increased tensile strength, become more sensitive to stress-corrosion cracking. During use, they are prone to stress-induced pitting corrosion and other environmental influences, and therefore we do not recommend their application in environments with high corrosivity.

Parameter
The fatigue strength T [number of cycles] and the impact test KV [J] comply with the standards GB/T12718, DIN22252, PN-G-46701, as well as the Green technical specifications.
To ensure the chain performs well in actual operation, the hardness distribution varies across different parts of the chain links.
Whether it’s a round-link chain or a compact chain, the arc-shaped sections where the chain engages with the sprocket and where chain links connect to each other should have increased hardness to achieve higher wear resistance. At the same time, the straight edges of the chain links should exhibit enhanced toughness; therefore, the hardness of the straight edges should be slightly lower than that of the arc-shaped sections.
