The mining compact chain can replace the same nominal diameter of circular-ring chains that are commonly used at present, without transformation of the original scraper conveyor. When using the mining compact chain, it is also allowed that scraper conveyors with low lateral coal blocking boards are used, because the outer width of the vertical ring of the mining compact chain made based on DIN22255 and MT/T929 standards is one order of magnitude smaller than that of the circular-ring chain made based on DIN22255, GB/T12718 and PN-G-46701 standards. For example, the maximum outer width b4 of 34X126mm mining compact chain is 98, that is, the maximum outer width b2 of 30X108mm mining circular-ring chain is 97.

The vertical ring of the compact chain (flat chain) can be manufactured with flattening process. As for the chain whose mechanical performance is inapplicable to DIN 22255 standard, Gelin has formulated Gelin technical conditions. The vertical ring of the compact chain provided by Gelin can be manufactured in the way of flattening or forging. If customers require other compact chains, Gelin can manufacture such chains according to MT/T929 and the corporate standard formulated by Gelin experts. Gelin's technical experts can also formulate customized standards for customers to meet customers' demands.
